First registered in November 2004 this Renault Kangoo has been professionally modified to allow the wheelchair user to travel in the rear of the vehicle in the comfort of their own wheelchair.
At the rear of the vehicle is a light weight fold down ramp and a lowered floor that gives the wheelchair user 56 inches of head height.
Simply fold down the ramp then, at the flick of a switch, the rear of the vehicle lowers down. This reduces the angle of the ramp to which the chair is pushed up so very little effort required even for the largest and heaviest wheelchair users.
Inside there are 3 seats plus room for the wheelchair.
Over head aircraft style lockers are fitted that are ideal for extra luggage etc and a front vision panel is fitted in the roof to give extra light and visibility.
Overall a very clean vehicle that has been designed with ease of use in mind and ideal for those looking for a solution to wheelchair transportation.
